Disjuncta was a French independent label owned by Richard Pinhas of Heldon. Established in 1972, releasing just the one Schizo single at first, before releasing LP's in 1974. The label released a total of 7 LP records, 1 double album, and 4 singles. In late 1975 Richard sold the label to his studio manager, after which it was renamed Urus.
A number of different LP pressings exist on Disjuncta, which can be identified as follows: 1. rough green label (original 1974 pressings), 2. smooth green label (1974 / early 1975 pressings), 3. slightly off-white label (later 1975 pressings), 4. black label (197? pressings), 5. Urus black label (late 1975+) (exception: 000 010)
