A unique collection of atmospheric/spacious synth and
ambient musics. "Escape From The Cage" series. A continuation from the
concept of the "A Cage Went In Search Of A Bird" set, this series
of releases explores 3 different facets of new-music. All are unique
commissioned recordings (including rarities), by some of the leading pioneers
around, and some much lesser-known obscure artists. All are great value for
money! Due
to the nature of such spacious music, this one contains less artists, yet is
all pretty much major league prestigious material, presenting the best
talents in 90s cosmic music. Naturally, as major innovators of the scene, we
have 3 Americans: Rich, Nerell and Roach, all showcasing their talents well.
The ever wonderful dark Lightwave represent France admirably, and we have a
huge slice of cosmic Schulzian music from Danish maestro Hansen. From
Britain, we wanted Kevin O'Neill, but lost contact, however the synth and
flute duo of Steve & Linda Hillman fitted-in nicely. Compiled
