This album started as a new Dave Powell solo, but ended up as the birth of a
new musical project, the duo Tartovisti. Nigel and Dave had played together
in other more folk oriented projects in the past. With this release they move
well away from folk, exploring a variety of styles on disc one (some of this
is solos by Dave), and then a free guitar wielding tripping on disc two, the
Schwankungen variations, they venture into the world of fuzz, distortion, and
the Kosmische...
