Yet more left-overs from the end of winter and
early spring of 1999, the same era as the "Time Capsule" material,
specially selected by Jim Tetlow, with some additional over-dubs by Maureen.
The title is a reference to The Beatles' "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds"
and there is a good deal of psychedelia going on in this, be it heavily
electronic with the late Dave Johnson doing some of his most inspired
out-there guitar work. It's all very spacey and esoteric stuff, with a lot of
big instrumental sections, featuring keyboards and synthesizers, and
Shapeshifter compositions/improvisations that never made it on to any other
album.
